The most reliable and consistent wind is from December – early March (Kenyan Summer), the biggest waves and some times really strong wind you get from May – August (Kenyan Winter).

We specialise in teaching Kiteboarding and we also offer rentals. Storage facilities are also available for experienced kite surfers who are visiting the Kenyan Coast in Mombasa for work or holiday.

Kazkazi Wind

Kaskazi (north-easterly) wind blows from December to mid-March. This wind is more stable with a less chance of rain, storms and gusts.

There is a shorter period of change between Kaskazi and Kusi wind.
